Brooke Tights
Finally a bike short that stays in place! I was a bit skeptical at first if the anti-slip grips were going to work…but it did and my shorts did not budge during my entire yoga session. I have pretty thin legs and I purchased the XS. I think I could have also worn the S for less compression overall and the technology would still work. I tend to size up because I don’t like my leggings super tight. If you’re in between sizes, I would recommend sizing up because the compression around the thigh area is a little more snug.
I did also get the Alyssa short that has the same anti slip technology but less compression. I like them both and use them for different workouts.
Bonus feature: POCKETS! I love pockets to hold all of my belongings during my walk
The Brooke tights strike the perfect balance between supportive and comfortable! I’m not always a fan of compression shorts because they usually ride up and don’t breathe, but these are a game-changer — took them out for a 6-mile trot in the pouring rain, and they held up great. I bought these in the gray color, which I think is unique (who needs another pair of black shorts!) but still a nice neutral that goes with everything. I also like that the waistband holds everything in but isn’t too tight, so I don’t feel like a sausage. I will wear these throughout the fall while marathon training and am happy that the two sets of pockets can hold my phone, keys, AND gels all at once!
it's been a long time since I've owned a pair of short tights that did not creep up my thighs while running. the rubber on the legs anchor them in place. I thought it might be uncomfortable but nope. if anything, I feel more comfortable and confident in these shorts. Your phone can fit in the back pocket (which I prefer) or the side. These are thick and compressive. I don't ever put them in the dryer because doing so would probably ruin them.
